CoverUp Privacy Policy

App: CoverUp (Android, package com.timberlybrown.coverup)
Developer: Timmie Sue Creations
Effective date: October 11, 2026

The short version

CoverUp keeps your tattoo photo, your notes, and the sketch ideas on your phone. This version does not send them to us or to anyone else.

What is stored, and where

Everything you make in CoverUp is saved only on your phone, in the app's private storage:

We (the developer) never receive any of this.

What leaves your phone

In this version, nothing. The sketches are made on your phone and your photo is not uploaded.

The app's settings include a switch for an optional "cloud image generation" service. That service is not set up in this version, so the app shows that cloud generation isn't available and keeps everything on the phone. The app lists the Internet permission only for that future optional feature. If a later version makes it available, it will be something you choose to turn on, and we will update this policy before that version is released.

If you tap Share, the sketch goes only to the app or person you pick (for example, your tattoo artist). That is you sharing it, not the app.

Permissions and why

Google Play and Android

Google Play and Android may collect information as part of downloading and running apps (for example, install counts and crash reports you agree to share with Google). That is covered by Google's privacy policy, not by this app. We do not add any extra tracking.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade any information. The app has no ads, no analytics or tracking tools, and no account or sign-in.

Children

CoverUp is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because the photo, notes, and sketches stay on the phone.

How to delete your data

You can delete saved sketches in the app. To remove everything at once, go to your phone's Settings > Apps > CoverUp > Storage > Clear storage (or Clear data), or uninstall the app. Uninstalling deletes all of the app's data from your phone. Pictures you saved to your gallery or shared stay there until you delete them. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of CoverUp changes how it handles data, we will update this page and the effective date before that version is released.
