FlyerSnap Privacy Policy

App: FlyerSnap (Android, package com.timberlybrown.flyersnap)
Developer: Timmie Sue Creations
Effective date: October 11, 2026

The short version

FlyerSnap reads flyers right on your phone. It has no internet access, so your flyers, kids' names, and events never leave your phone unless you share them yourself.

What is stored, and where

Everything you make in FlyerSnap is saved only on your phone, in the app's private storage:

We (the developer) never receive any of this.

What leaves your phone

Nothing. Text is read on your phone using Google's on-device text recognition (ML Kit), which is built into the app. FlyerSnap does not have the Internet permission, so it cannot send anything off your phone.

When you tap "Add to calendar", FlyerSnap opens your phone's calendar app with the event filled in, and you choose whether to save it. After that, the event is handled by your calendar app (which may sync it to your calendar account, depending on your settings).

If you tap Share, the item goes only to the app or person you pick. There is no billing in this version. The Pro screen is only a preview.

Permissions and why

FlyerSnap does not request internet, location, or contacts permissions.

Google Play and Android

Google Play and Android may collect information as part of downloading and running apps (for example, install counts and crash reports you agree to share with Google). That is covered by Google's privacy policy, not by this app. We do not add any extra tracking.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade any information. The app has no ads, no analytics or tracking tools, and no account or sign-in.

Children

FlyerSnap is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it has no internet access and everything stays on the phone.

How to delete your data

You can delete flyers, events, and kids in the app. To remove everything at once, go to your phone's Settings > Apps > FlyerSnap > Storage > Clear storage (or Clear data), or uninstall the app. Uninstalling deletes all of the app's data from your phone. Events you added to your phone's calendar stay in your calendar app until you delete them there. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of FlyerSnap changes how it handles data, we will update this page and the effective date before that version is released.
